the Wakefield Doctrine

Now I may and I may not start this Post with a “clever” remark about a (semi) famous painting.  In case I do, the (clever) remark is “I don’t know about you, but for some reason I thought ‘King Kong’.

So, it looks like everyone enjoyed the new Feature (…the Good…the Bad…Decide Right Now!!) yesterday.  After you are finished here, go back there, I added  to that Post.  A music vid clip from the promo off the Food Network.  Anyone else noticing a trend here? (i. e. all the cool  music first hitting consciousness as a result of seeing commercials and promotions on “TV”) Whatever.  Readers seemed to enjoy “tG..tB Decide” but we are not done yet!  It needs to be decided which of the Cooking Shows cited are Good (and which) are Bad. (When? Why Right Now!! of course).

There was a question about which of the host cooks were which, you know, types (clarks, scotts and rogers) and since the invariant goal of each and everyone of these blogs is to present the Doctrine in such manner that a totally new Reader, after reading only one Post, would later that same day stop and think/say, “Damn that must be one of those scott type people that blog was talking about…(..,it was Winfield..no…Westfield Diners..or was it…Westchester Dinner Club yeah! those guys), they said that people were clark-something or nigerian…no rogerian!  That girl with the funny clothes does have a funny look in her eyes!  Wow I gotta go back to that site.”

This is all we are after.  This is the whole point to this Post.  This is the short-term goal of the Wakefield Doctrine (the theory of clarks, scotts and rogers) to help people see that when viewed from the perspective of the Doctrine, how people behave finally makes sense.  Pretty simple.
So remember today, when someone talks (to you)  like your very existance is a personal affront to them, no matter what the cause of the interaction…you are a clark and they are a roger.  Don’t forget that when you are at work and the ‘supervisor type’ person comes by for the nine millionth frickin time and says, “hey babe when are we running off together” in a voice that I can hear…they are a scott and you are a roger or a clark.  Make a note right now, that when you are finished sketching out the outline to your plan to finally change and you can’t wait to tell someone…you are a clark and (the first person you will tell) will listen sympathetically and interrupt you to say they have something important to do and (the second person) will stop you to tell you they heard this weird thing at work about three different people played each of the three stooges and there are teams that use the names of each, and how funny you they thought that person sounded telling and why not run away together? that’s one roger and one scott, thank you.
Then and only then is our job is done.

Hey! we got the Lesson of the Day out of the way early, no?  So, what do you want to do now?  Plenty of time…no, this is not a music video/facebook blog…nah, don’t feel like that…

The kids at Mill Fill? Vacationationing mostly.  Britney is doing the intern thing with the Differently-vantaged kids at Camp Rumplelake, Janie is still on Grand Tour and Jimmie (yeah, he is spelling it that way theses days)…finally finishing Summer School…
